"What a thousand acres of Silphiums looked like when they tickled the bellies of the buffalo is a question never again to be answered, and perhaps not even asked." -Aldo Leopold
Spintharus flavidus is a gorgeous member of the cobweb spiders (Family Theridiidae). In Missouri, it can typically be found underneath leaves in shaded woodlands.
Well done, found locally or is it in a specific habitat?
Thanks Miguel. We found a couple of these at Hickory Canyon but I believe these should be found in forested habitat in the StL area.
